Mrs. Rachel Christie

PreK - 3
I was born in Marinette, Wisconsin and attended St. John’s Lutheran Church and School in Peshtigo from PK-4th grade. I moved to Buffalo, Minnesota attending Salem Lutheran School in Greenfield, Minnesota from grades 5th-8th. I went to West Lutheran High School in Plymouth, MN. I started my college journey at Concordia in St. Paul, MN. After my freshman year, I transferred to Martin Luther College where I graduated in 2020. I received my first call to Word of Life Lutheran School in Milwaukee to teach 7th-8th. The next year (2021) my husband Karl received his vicar assignment at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Beverly Hills, Florida. I was able to serve as the 2nd grade teacher there. This is my 3rd year teaching and I am so blessed to serve you by teaching 3k here at St. John’s! I will also be doing some other jobs around school to help out. In my spare time, I like to stay active, bake, and go to Hobby Lobby. I also enjoy spending time at home with a book or catching up on my favorite shows.
How comforting to know that God’s love will never separate from us. We are His forever!

Romans 8:38-39, “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” No matter what trials we go through, God's love is constant and perfect.

In His Service,

Rachel Christie
